There is no need to fear that Singapore will collapse when PAP loses seats in parliament. We have been indoctrinated into believing that after many years of single party rule. Singapore has independent civil services, police and military that are neutral and will continue their function. Our institution will not fumble.
The alternate parties are not asking for a mandate from Singaporeans. We are not looking to take over PAP. We just want to stop giving PAP a super majority in parliament. A place designed to hold debates about what is best for Singapore and not like what you see for the past few years. There is no need to fear. Being patriotic does not mean you have to be voting for PAP. Being patriotic means you will do what you can for the betterment of Singapore. There is no need to fear.

pap already put in place measures to counter any freak results many elections ago. Things like the elected presidency etc. No need worry even if pap is voted out. They will be the best opposition ever as they will be fighting to get back their million dollar salaries.
