Dear brothers and sisters

can somebody explain to me? Why Australia and New Zealand have less corruption than Singapore even though Singapore civil servants enjoy huge salary compared with Australia and New Zealand civil servants?

have we been cheated by PAP that civil servants need to have high pay so that they are not corrupted?

Less Corrupt Country:
The top-ranked countries for 2016 were Denmark and New Zealand, which both chalked 90 points.
They were followed by Finland (89), Sweden (88), Switzerland (86) and Norway (84).
Also in the top 10 were the Netherlands (83), Canada (82) and Germany (81)

Singapore only scored 84 points.

The subject of corruption was only an excuse for granting themselves millions. The true reason is simple: GREED.

Very simple!

Because Angmos believed they are accountable to the Almighty and the people!

Singaporeans only believes in themselves so they helped themselves loh!

Million dollar salaries is legalized corruption!

Especially when you see beggars in the street while they helped themselves to taxpayers millions!

No farking shame!

PAP has failed us. Despite PAP having high salaries and SG has the most expensive Cabinet in the world, PAP has not been able to reduce corruption

Peter Ong salary shall be cut substantially. Under his care, Singapore corruption is getting worst even though civil servants pay are getting higher?

Is shameless Peter Ong editing his own wikipedia?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Ong

As head of the Civil Service, Ong takes a tough stand on corruption, saying that the authorities "will not hesitate to take action against a corrupt officer, no matter how senior he or she might be".[12]

No, monsoon and heavy rains are fine. It's pap's incompetence that clogged drains that caused flooding. Heavy rains do not cause flood as in 1980s LKY had ensured that our drainage can cope with heavy rain. But it is LHL's incompetence, causing clogged drains that cause flooding. Rain nowadays is not any heavier than during LKY's time.

The difference why there was no flooding in 1980s and plenty of flooding now is LKY and LHL

PAP and their IBs deny the truth and want us to believe that heavy rains caused flooding in SG. That's a lie. The truth is clogged drains that impede rain water flow caused flooding

Whether its is white car or black cat,it is still a cat.
Whether it is under-table coffee money or over-the-table coffee money,it is still coffee money.
Whether it is legalised corruption or illegalised corruption,it is still corruption.
Only in a dictatorial or authoritarian or totalitarian country u seldom see people protest against the corrupt leaders.
The consequences are usually death or long jail sentences.

You are right. Whether it is illegal corruption or legal corruption, it is still corruption

PAP is fighting a losing battle to convince Singaporeans that it is doing is all above board. Singaporeans are getting better educated and PAP's legal corruption doesnt hold ground with them. It is a matter of time before the tide turn against the pap

Singapore is like an apple, shiny on the outside but rotten to the core inside.
Majority of singaporeans have been cowed ,threatened and brainwashed into
unthinking zombies. They knew the PAP are corrupt but they felt helpless and hopeless
and just carried on life to make ends meet.
