We are WP supporters but we respect all oppo parties contesting next GE.
The excitement of next GE coming sooner can be hoax or just a cheap thrill right ?.
Anyway, oppo should also play along and get ready ok.
Now lets go back in time when old fart was around during GE days.
You people may realize he played 2 roles , a detective on the oppo candidates and bogeyman to the voters. You see, no debate on policies but PAP won landslide. He is no more next GE , right?
Next GE, it is definitely not productive to niggle with PAP over pennies because PAP wants to divert attention on policies. As we have always told you ---focus on the voters, they are the ones who either save sinkapore or kill sinkapore.
When GE race starts, You have only 10 days, remember ok !
While you focus on policies……….
There are some common subjects you should voice out next GE to the voters, be a diplomatic bogeyman to educate the voters, say the right things in a simple way ---
1. Ask the voters –have PAP MPs spoken up for you and debate policies in parliament that make life better for you? Tell the voters that they are voting for lawmakers to form good policies in parliament for the people. Tell the voters, give examples like COE, ERP, GST, 6.9 million , no PAP MPs objected and debated tooth nail. Remember George Yeo, we remember when he sensed about to lose Aljunied , he told the voters he would speak up for them at the parliament---too late right……..but ah George certainly is an enlightened person now. In other words, yesmen are no good MPs. They are office bearers, how can they let one person to make decisions for sinkaporean and sinkapore right.
2. 7 million population---recently they were talking about water not enough but why import more FTs if our water supply is not certain. Over-populated island will have a bad quality life. Ask the voters whether they have been to Hongkong or Tokyo to experience the terrible human jam. Sinkapore is about to happen if immigration is not bridled. Look at the MRT , our roads,etc,etc.
Remember LKY said 5.5 million would be good right.
3. Public housing—HDB flats belong to HDB, you voters who buy HDB are leaseholders not owner HDB is the rightful owner but you pay property tax . A Flat costs several hundred of thousands means you pay for life though they say is affordable. Tell the voters that their CPF ordinary money is wiped out by the expensive HDB flat and then pay mortgage for life. When living a life is all about
paying the house and high living costs , they lose happiness. You have to tell voters that land cost and construction cost are unknown. Ironically , PAP is also factoring land cost when you live high on the concrete right !
Dear oppo, the three subjects are common vital issues to talk about. You need not talk intelligently, you have to educate and instill a question mark into the voters ! You talk sensibly and be sincere about it. Push the responsibility to the voters.
GE is not about electing leaders. What is point having good leaders but they think for themselves.
Leaders are for the people, we elect leaders for the people not for their party. What is a government for ? For NDP? For SG 50 ? SEA games? To see the PM weeps a small river?
The gist is we elect leaders to make life better for the people with moderate living costs and sustainable salaries right!
At the moment, PAP ministers are drawing over the moon salaries, how can they say they are leaders for the people when Sinkaporeans are overtaxed and underpaid?
Remember , you have to play a small time diplomatic bogeyman to the voters if you must win. Sinkaporean voters are paranoid persons . Think about it. The three issues are very crucial issues you should capitalize to win voters. Old fart is no more, GE is going to be a real life issues.
look at PAP candidates, they either get recycled ones or armyboys and policemen, these people know nothing about hardship and economy, they come in to say yes ---that's all .
Our mass media is a PAP mouthpiece, we can only hope for a divine intervention to punish those reporters and their immediate families next GE if they side PAP. Let us all pray for the divine assistance.
