$9 for two..?..cheap siah...

Roadside stall la bro that's why so cheap. The good thing in Thailand is their roadside stalls are generally very clean. When you see how Thai's display their food you know immediately they take pride is serving food so it has to be clean. Tonight's dinner, the fish very fresh.

Hehehe. Arun Sawats from Pattaya. Nice cool weather and hope it will remain dry for the whole day/night.

Will be using S3 from today as I have completed transferring of everything from IP (got a strange feeling I left out something) and passing it to one of the staff. So pics posted in this thread will be all from S3.

Some updates on the traffic condition in Pattaya for those planning a trip. It is getting real bad now as it is the beginning of the high season. I have never seen anything like this before since last year's flooding. Some places (Sois in Pattaya South and Naklua) might be flooded if there is a continuous heavy rain for 30 mins or more.

A typical Thai noodle shop (laan kway teow) : laan = shop ; kway teow = noodle. The word "kway teow" means noodles to us or mee it doesn't mean our broad rice noodle.

null-29.jpg

You can order soup or dry but the dry is unlike ours with balacan chili sauce and vinegar Thai dry noodles are plain so you have to add your own chili powder, crushed peanuts, fish sauce, sugar etc etc. As for soup you'd probable have more choices - plain soup ; tomyam ; yen-dao-fu (red paste from fermented preserved bean curd)

This shop really hardcore every table has a large bowl of fried lard for customers to sikusuka add.

My breakfast now - our kway-teow soup noodle (50 baht - special)
