Absolutely right. There are lots of empty seats during prime lunch time - the breadtalk chao ah beng has to learn that consumers are no fools, especially in areas like Marine Parade where there are a few other hawker centres.
Can ask the Kate Bag girl..Tin P L..to address this high cost for a simple fare in Marine parade...
Don"t just pay her $15k to warm seat and do nothing....

So did I however those Grilled & barbecued parts tasted better & is of course more unhealthy.:o
It's really quite sad to see how down hill & of course expensive eating out in Spore has become. Been a long time since I had satay, I don't think many can afford it at 60 cents a stick for a shrunken version of this delicacy. A stall at Toa Payoh food court has stopped carrying satay to focus on more profitable barbecued options.
if you are a vegetarian, you will not worry about how much meat is in your soup.
during my time, char kway teow only 30cents and we CAN bring own egg(s).
