The best is not to choose own child(ren) to be PM.
All his efforts could be tarnished by the chosen one.
Exception is that when a country needs, son or daughter can be a next leader through people choice.
(That happened in Myanmar, Philippines, India)

That's why in China's dynasties, the last emperor is always a weakling and/or an imbecile.

Sometimes it happens within one generation: e.g. Liu Bei's idiotic son who would rather play catching with eunuchs and palace maidens.

I grew up in the poorhouse but that hasn't stopped me from lacking empathy too.
