I would NEVER, EVER reveal my true identity on-line. It's simply too dangerous. All I do is invent identities and change my story on a regular basis in order to keep everyone guessing with regards to my gender, religion, race and location.

Even the email address that I use for my personal correspondence does not bear my real name and I don't sign the emails off with my real name either.

The problem with most people nowadays is that they fall prey to one of the the most serious of the seven deadly sins viz vanity. They figure there's no point achieving anything in life if they can't show their exploits off to the rest of the world.

There has also been cases of forum folks here meeting up or providing funding for new business and losing their pants as a result of PM and meeting outside the forum.

Meeting up in real life can be a double-edged sword. It can either turn out well or downright nasty. But to be honest, there are higher chances of it turning nasty than turning out well. u got all the facts wrong. he didn't cause the closure of the forums, the SDP IB did when they upgraded themselves into dephiplus paying members and made numerous complaints banning many.

the whole forum became slime cesspool and there was no point to keep it going. those notorious SDP IB ninjas and turtles now do not dare to appear here to post in their original nics but only resort to coward and loser clones to do all their dirty works.

Excuse me, please allow me to set the record straight. I've met Lamei through other WP comrades. She wasn't a member but there was a time when she was friendly with some WP members and even helped out at some WP events. Ti Lik was also a WP member then introduced to her.

She met Bob and Ejay through the forum. Including Ti Lik, they had regular power breakfast political chat sessions known as PAU (People Against Upgrading). Their quarrels started from there, which I was never a part of.
