How come kids can go to school so early in the morning? During my schooldays, I only attended 1-2 morning assemblies per year. Every morning sure late. To avoid being booked by prefects, I would climb in from the low wall at the back of the school. That was a a very good training to prepare me for my BMT. I never had any problem with my SOC low wall obstacle.
School security is very strict these days. Prison-style turnstile gates, barbed fire fence, security cameras everywhere, some places require you to scan in (implemented long before SafeEntry/Tracetogether).

Actually I am a victim of technology advancement just like the poor boy indeed.
