ok, sino-Malay as in peranakan?

No, as in Fresh Off the Boat (FOB) chinese speaking bastardized Malay. Back in the day as they say.

I learned this from relatives in Malaysia when I was a kid going to visit Granny upcountry.

Malays also use it too, particularly when speaking to elderly Chinese, so that they can build rapport.

Hmmmmm I feel so good today to want to post.

Makmai is a small village located at the eastern side of Bangkok just before Minburi. There is a very nice restaurant with great Thai food and Thai music and some nice pretty girls as GRO.

An insightful opinion of lesser, ordinary folks getting wrong end of political squabbles in LOS.

Finally, I've become a biker, old biker. See my lean & mean machine delivered today, fierce or not?

Tomorrow will go pick up some chicks. Wish me luck.

The price of this Yamaha Filano is an unsinkifed price, 46,000 baht ($1850) I think half of COE, this includes registration. Souped-up with almost all their accessories added only about $200.

Total 2050 ah, kNN a extremely good deal and really unsinkified price.

Many know I love Indian food. Last night found one new went for first time and is called Masala Art. Located in Thonglor in 8 Thonglor Building 2nd floor. A northern indian restaurant, I prefer the southern indian food which we are more familiar with but then this is a nice place and I have to say the food is really authentic and not watered down type for farangs or Thais.

Starter

Complimentary tomato soup - this looks strange but tastes really refreshing with herbs and spices, taste a little like ratsum soup

Roasted lamb leg cooked in tandoori style as in in the oven but not skewered

Close up - the meat is cooked to perfection, a little dry but not too much

Naan - I have to say this is the best naan I've had

Lady Fingers

Dhaal

Masala Chicken

The biryani is cooked in a pot individually covered by a naan

I have to say the fragrance of the spices and herbs and mutton is all locked up in the pot by the naan, this is actually a very traditional way of cooking

See how perfectly done is the rice with the chunks of mutton?

The manager CJ Singh is a really nice and friendly chap, knew its our first time and served us two complimentary sweet desserts

I'll be back there soon, had a great dinner and oh for all the above, only $85 and is a very nice hiso environment some more.
