I have come across a few bosses who told me to give them only solutions, and not problems i.e. these bosses were too lazy or incapable of thinking for themselves.

Plenty who are like that. The minute someone tells them about issues everyone else at work faces it’s game over man

Had a new manager who told me the same thing... found out he once open a pub and closed down...

these people are brainless and cannot do even simple business management.
