Youtube unauthorization deduction.

My father and I have $1500 and $600 deducted by YouTube from past few days.
Anyone here a victim too ?

Don't call youtube. Call your bank, they will stop this transaction, even if a few days have pasted.

avoid android, google play, and anything associated with that scam of a company and operation.

You will not be notified of these transactions.
Those deductions happen bit by bit, day by day.
Mine got deducted $10 on 1st day, $20 the next and suddenly $500 got deducted on the 3rd day.
My fathers case was deduction of $500 and $200 over a course of 6 days consecutively.

Google play sends an email to the account every time there is a charge.

you mentioned you use YouTube Vance. Did you get it from the official site or a 3rd party site?

Official thru the Vanced manager.
I see where you're coming from but my father uses the normal Youtube.

There is no notification of any transaction nor is there any info in Google Playstore.

if there is no answer from the merchant about why this is charged, there is 1 other thing your bank can do for you, beside going under the unauthorized charge route.

you can ask the bank to initiate a chargeback. not many people know about this but it has been done.

very strange if there's no notification! even for a $0.99 charge they will inform me.

you can try to apply for charge back on the credit card with the bank. will take a few months but usually works in cases like these where there is fraud. ask them for the charge back form.

Not sure yet.
The bank's reply "we will try our best" doesn't sound very reassuring to me.
If they cannot refund then they are indirectly approving the actions of these fucking scammers.

I heard from my friends that if the transaction has not gone thru, they can reverse and have done it before. But if it's approved then I think abit hard cause they probably don't have much say after the transaction gets approved

Apparently I'm not the only victim. Same as my case, the unauthorized deductions were seen as Superchat donations. And the deductions still appear on my transaction history.
