It TAKES TIME to learn. We Humans often can only learn from personal mistakes made, or mistakes made by others, in order to correct such mistakes, to progress and evolve not just ourselves, but loved ones, family, relatives, friends and society, to even achieve an honest simple aim of putting food on the table for all as best as we can.
Sadly, there will always be those whom will never learn, either due to mental incapability and stubborn character traits even when confronted with REALITIES, proven and epitomized by such as the likes of the Don Quixotic Mr Syed Putra and his Sancho Panza type of fiends here....
Time...is but only a Human construct in the eyes of our CREATOR....
Our visionary and far-sighted Founding and Forefathers had done their best for us, even leadership by example in governance or by head of home within the family.....at times seemingly harsh, but only necessary. Most toed the lines and saw far and great achievements and economy, stability and social life that most thought impossible....
The family is the building block of Civilization, and thus our Democratic Elected govt's emphasis on HELPING families, not just with motherhood statements, but hard earned tax revenues, to give EVERY family a chance and opportunities to grow, be educated, get jobs and prosper.....as very often, it is financial strain that caused the break up of families....
It is still a work in progress and MUCH still needed to be done, in many aspects of psychology and social life. WE, as a Singapore Civilization, will leave no one behind.
In a philharmonic symphony orchestra - it takes ALL KINDS of musical instruments as well as even stage works, to WORK TOGETHER, in order to produce good and great music, appreciated by all, thru much training and rehearsals.
The greatest Singapore symphony one can hear is when each fellow citizen brings his/her right fist to one's chest, and voice their words with heartfelt honesty, to our Sacred National Pledge......
