Your condo you are staying now got such weird people?

Ah I see. Thanks for sharing about the electric bike situation in SG.

Over here no restrictions. I guess Canada is big and lots of open space. Even cycling the enthusiasts will load their bikes on bike carrier (electric and not electric bikes I have seen) and drive to the mountains or the more rural roads and do their cycling trips.

The Bow Valley Parkway is the more forested road parallel to the main highway when you drive through the Rockies.

They have been closing it off to let cyclists use it.

There are so many cycling trails

Legacy trail is a common seen one from the highway and I see so many people cycling. And lately noticed many are using electric bikes.

It is less arduous more relaxing for the not so fit people I guess. Haha!
Nice, when I retire I will spend some time cycling is Canada indeed.

Last week I was driving out to Drumheller. Saw quite a group of bike racers in the tights and sunglasses look very pro and tour defrance like.

But there were really out in nowhere must be training.

Just wondering......for these very long bike rides how do you plan?

Do you have like 2 cars? Park one at end point then drive the other to start point?

In Sinkieland for road bike, we usually ride to starting point, so that everyone can just break off at whichever point that is convenient at the end of the ride. For mountain bike might have to drive to destination, I seldom do mountain biking. The idea is to join a local nearby bike group so that there’s a convenient starting point for everyone. So in SG, for Easties we usually start at Kallang MacDonalds, sometimes at East Coast Safra Chalet, depending on the direction of the route. Most of the time we try to end the journey where we start. The idea is to avoid the hassle of transporting your bike. For angmoh country might need to transport since the geographical location is so huge from point to point.

yeah I was thinking of the transport. Also both cars will need the same capacity for bike carrier.

Ideally do a loop kind of route. Start and end same point. Maybe that's what those guys do?
