1. Agree on your comments regarding tobacco and govt allowing its import. But being wrong in this would not make the other case right. Fight his case according to the laws of the land. If laws are inappropriate, then get the singapore pubic to support his pardon, and amendment to the law. Like I said, there are other inmates on death sentence too. Why single him out, make him the poster boy and give him false hope? Like another forumer implied that false hope is a torture.

Lastly, did any political parties who feel strongly against the death penalty raise any issue with it during the elections? I did not follow all the speeches.
Imo, death penalty for carrying hard drugs into singapore is part of the country's defence mechanism.
