IOC chief hails Singapore Youth Olympic Games as "perfection"
SINGAPORE - IOC president Jacques Rogge on Thursday hailed the Youth Olympics in Singapore as exceeding all expectations as the inaugural Games closed with a colourful ceremony of music and dance....
"The Youth Olympic Games have exceeded vastly my highest expectations," he said in his closing remarks.
"I always knew it would be well organised, but I did not expect this level of perfection. I now have 22 Olympic Games under my belt but (Singapore) ranks at the very top.

So successful for tiny Singapore to shine on the world platform and which clown says so negative about the YOG Singapore? Why must let others to appreciate Singapore before we learn to appreciate ourselves? Set too high a standard or expectation for ourselves?
Or silently in our heart we appreciate it and is proud of it - like our old generation parents who never praised but only criticised - but you know in their heart they are proud of their children and know their capability (They eventually pass their fortunes to their children).
But nowadays we must say it loud to encourage and motivate them to do better.
