You must know that rice produced from different lands / countries of origin / climatic conditions are different grains in the market, very very different in qualities and prices. Not all the same.

Thai elites are the ones plundering the country with the royal family standing by and sharing the spoils.

To sympathize with exploited farmer is a thing that have to be done apart from becoming compromised or acceptance towards Thug-Sin's exploitation.
