67 YR OLD MAN STABS LADY POPIAH SELLER FOR REJECTING HIS LOVE PROPOSAL

A 44 year old popiah seller at Vivocity Kopitiam was stabbed twice by a 67 year old man after he accused her of having a boyfriend on the side. He walked into the stall on the pretext of asking for more popiah chilli before whipping out the knife and grievously attacked the lady in the stomach. The victim was sent to the Singapore General Hospital and underwent surgery. She is in stable condition.

According to eyewitnesses, the assailant was persistently wooing the victim Ms Amin on Monday and Wednesday. However, the victim did not have the same feelings for him and told him straight that she was not interested in having a relationship with him. She said he was "so old and probably going to die soon".

After he was rejected multiple times, the man wandered about the foodcourt before accusing her of having a boyfriend and stabbed her in the abdomen. The attacker casually walked out of the stall after the attack and only stopped moving when an off-duty policeman told him to put the knife down.

64yo, no caning, free medical, lodgings and meals. It's much more better than living alone in 1 room flat where you die and nobody knows. In jail, at least someone to take care of you. I think the trend of single senior citizen crime will be increasing. This is called nothing to lose.
