It was reported in ST yesterday that the LTA is conducting a trial later with 80 members of the public to test an online application to tell commuters how crowded the next bus will be.
Information on how crowded it will be via colours - GREEN if there are seats, AMBER if standing room only and RED for very crowded. And I am deep PURPLE with rage.
Of what use is the info to commuters when all they really need is to catch the next bus and get to work.
LTA claims that it is PART OF A SYSTEM to make information more readily available for commuters "to plan their journey."
They should focus on getting basics right, perform their assigned and basic roles and get on with their jobs.
