Politician's reputation has to be earned from voters not through legal suit. As such does LHL still has any reputation to speak of? Because he has few grassloot limping towards him, for businesses, doesnt make him any more reputable than anyof us folks like you and me.
How can he be reputable for selling our people and this country to foreigners? Has he any more credible image left, after he admitted for no leadership foresight implementing policies and his apologies made known to the voters of Singapore?
Reputation is a gift from the people, not from his personal lawyers. Talking about smearing and defaming individuals, who can beat SPH for regularly doing so under PAP's instruction? It is because SPH is such anti-opposition in painting anti-PAP people in bad light, it ended up as 158th worse ranking in world freedom of report. If PAP's mouthpiece has such poor reputation on world stage, how can PAP claim itself to be reputable?
Reputation is not about who has more money but who has more credibility and honour. Can we say that Hitler was more reputable than Mother Teresa, because the former resort to threat and slaughter, to make his subjects submit to him.
On similar note, LHL is just a willy fox with his father's support. He is just an ordinary army boy parachuted into MP and became PM cluelessly by force from his dad. Otherwise, he is just a boy, borned with silver spoon and talk big with no action - except mouthing bad about Singaporeans on his fb and constantly seeking his lawyer's protection. He is a nothing, a nobody. Where come his reputation is beyond my comprehension. If he think that his familee wealth is his reputation, say so. At least we want to know his definition of reputation which he didn't have in the first place.
