The same can be said of Goh meng seng.
Poh Lee Guan was fielded three times in the general elections. The first time he obtained a Chee Soon Juan standard of 26%. He must realize that it is revitalized party branding that has given him a platform to do better in each subsequent election rather than his own charisma.
Everyone makes sacrifices in politics. Some people have had to sacrifice their careers, even their families. These people don't go around posting documents breaking down what was sacrificed, or post receipts on bills paid, expenses incurred, to show the world how much money they forked out on behalf of the party. When you truly had to pay for your participation in politics, people will know without you telling them.
These are not some monumental sacrifice we are talking about here. It is about paying for chairs, and bickering why Angela Oon was favoured over him.

This guy was sacked by a political party. He claimed to be a spare / standby candidate. Thats when he burned his bridge to the rest of Singapore. TFBH is right. I agree that everyone makes sacrifices when it comes to politics. I agree this is petty bickering that should be cast in a dustbin. WP should just ask him to collect his chairs.
There is an oxymoron here. Goh, Poh, Eric, Sajeev etc. were part of WP. They were no kuchikurup members but the higher echelons of WP. When they criticize WP for being lousy, it might actually be true because WP took in these lousy people. That's why I call it an oxymoron.

The bottomline is this. The first 7 turned out ok (the 7 MPs). How do I know there aren't more Gohs or Pohs among the rest? How do I know Professor Daniel Goh isn't another Dr Poh? Both are doctors. What WP needs to do is open their eyes wider on the people they push up as leaders.
