WP continues to evade key questions on their computer system mismanagement

Up to this day, Vichy WP still has not dared to answer questions on their mismanagement of Aljunied-Hougang Town Council computer system:


1. Why didn’t they speak up on the issue and expose the PAP;s wrongdoing more than one year ago, but dilly-dally and procrastinate until now, just like they always do on almost every national issues?

2. Or is it that they are simply so incompetent that they fail to realise their computer system is so screwed up until HDB had informed them after more than 1 year?

3. Are they going to continue to mismanage the town council if HDB had not discovered their incompetence for them?

4. For over a year, why don’t they realise their financial irregularities over their S&CC arrears, but until now?

5. For over a year, how do they manage their cashflow with so much financial irregularities?

6. What are their Finance people been doing for the past 1 year? Also sleeping and idling on their jobs just as their MPs been sleeping and idling in parliament?

7. Were they going to develop their own software system for their town council in the first place or not, when they first took over the Aljunied Town Council?

8. If not, were they planning to use PAP computer software for their Vichy WP town council even if PAP were to allow them to continue using their software?

9. Could they integrate PAP software with that of original Hougang Town Council for their merged Aljunied-Hougang Town Council?

10.If could not be merged, were they ready to give up their original Hougang Town Council software for the PAP-owned Aljunied Town Council software?

11. If could be merged, were they willing to share their Aljunied-Hougang town council confidential info with PAP, based on PAP-managed computer software?

12. Would they still dare to hire AIM, which is controlled by PAP, if AIM insists to fulfill the agreement and manage and maybe spy with Vichy WP town council computer system?

13. If they dare not trust AIM to continue to manage and spy on them, shouldn’t they be thankful that AIM decided to pull out of managing Vichy WP software system?

14. If so, was their departure of ways based on mutual benefits and agreement?

15. If Vichy WP had planned to develop their computer accounting system, could they integrate and merge with that of the original Hougang software?

16. Is the current computer cock-up due to their incompetence in managing and integrating the 2 WP-managed town council computer system?

17. Is the current computer cock-up due to the inexperience and lack of tender process for the town council managing agent?

18. If the current Hougang computer system was indeed copied from Potong Pasir Town Council as rumoured, did they pay the people of Potong Pasir who had paid so much money to develop the system? Or did they just simply Potong Jalan, treating the Potong Pasir people as suckers?

19. If they did pay the Potong Pasir people, then how much? Was it more than the peanuts paid by PAP-controlled AIM to the Aljunied people?

20. Has Vichy WP called for a new tender for managing its town council yet, or has it continued to renew its agreement without calling a tender, yet again?

21. If a tender had been called, how many companies had tendered? Was it more than 1? (Unlike the PAP-controlled AIM which was the only one that had tendered for the PAP software)


Again, where the hell is Vichy WP’s “Transparency” and “Accountability”?......A leopard can never change its spots.

The issue is on AIM, not the WP. Are the residents of AH suffering under the WP management? NO. So, what's the big fuss? There are too many questions on the AIM purchase of the software system from the town councils that have yet to be addressed. AIM's explanations have invited more questions than providing answers. Let's focus on the main issue - software developed with taxpayers money being sold for a song to a PAP-company.

Do you think the PAP TC can ever fail the audit? The outcome of an audit of a PAP TC is no difference from the outcome of a lawsuit by a PAP minister against an opposition member.
