KJ: Did the Workers’ Party suffer from the loss of three key members Chia Ti Lik, Goh Meng Seng and James Gomez?

YSL: People come and go; organizations always have their forms of renewal. No individual is indispensable for any organization. An organization must be able to withstand loss of individuals due to different political aspirations. It is a fact that JG, GMS and CTL left Workers’ Party before 2011. In 2011 Aljunied [GRC] still gave ringing endorsement to the candidates, [this fact] speaks volumes.

YJJ: There is always a self-renewal process. If people cannot share the ethos it is better they go somewhere they can be themselves.

nobody miss him very much but he still cant stop harping on WP !!!!???

Perhaps it was lucky for the WP that GMS left the party!

Left my foot! They were kicked out after their disastrous performances and moronic sideshows in GE 2006. Good that WP leadership has that foresight, hindsight and courage. Now they're rewarded with a GRC win.

I assume Low Thiang Kiang is upset with GMS' babbling on the internet. I read I also upset.

Did Chia TL eventually fired Ng Teck Siong from his party? Maybe now those who left WP at that time can better appreciate the need for party discipline. If they have stayed behind I am sure they would be tremendous asset to WP and to the opposition cause as they were quite well received. Opposition in Spore always 3 steps forward 2 steps back.
