Would You Like Him As Your Candidate?

Which PAP minister got standard one?

Lim Swee Say? Oh please, his track record and gaffes speak volumes about this person. And look at his NTUC that has sold out the workers of Singapore and he is as good as a goner this coming GE.

Viviene? Hahaha. Can't even work within a budget and when he went over budget by almost 4 times he says that it was because they have never done such a thing before. in other words, the initial budget was done without any research or proper knowledge. This is the type of individual Viviene is.

Gan Kim Yong? Another sell out who has allowed hundreds of thousands of foreigners to fight for jobs with Singaporeans.

Mah Bow Tan? He doesn't even know what affordability is and worse yet, he almost single-handedly ensured that the majority of Singaporeans pensions are wiped out by the time they need their pensions the most. And the PAP thinks he is doing a good job. This alone should make you wonder what the hell is the PAP actually trying to achieve!

Shanmugaratnam? Can't even tell the truth without bringing more questions into play. And he is a lawyer. Either he is too lazy to come up with proper stories or his is really daft for thinking that Singaporeans are simpletons to take his crap at face value.

Khaw Boon Wan? Singapore as a country has spent the least in terms of per capita of GDP on healthcare for what I think is about over 20 years. Each of us pays a lot for our Medishield which inevitably means less spending by the government. But when we fall in, Medishield falls short. With this kind of health minister he should be in line as an undertaker!

Tharman? This guy was nothing more than a reported for the Business Times. Suddenly can become Minister of Finance. Even then he kenna overruled by gay loong on major issues and in full view of the public.

Wong Kan Seng? Ex-school teacher and HR Manager who oversay the Home Ministry for donkey years and who is solely responsible for the slack policing we have and the rise in juvenile crimes.

Gay Loong? In other countries his political career would have collapsed when he was found out for accepting discounts when purchasing a private property. The discount amounted to a few hundred thousand dollars. This guy is a millionaire many times over it is ridiculuos and yet he will stoop so low as to accept the discount. His other gaffes are too many to mention. The biggest flaw is that he is the PM. How incredible!

Ng Eng Hen? This is the guy who thinks he can control the price of oil! This is the guy responsible for opening the foreign talent floodgates. For goodness sake his specialty is pinching nipples!

Baey? Wah liao! This guy only one degree one and can become so tok kong without having achieved anything substantive in his life.

So which PAP minister is actually able to do his job let alone do a job FOR YOU!

What about Lim Boon Heng, Jayakumar, GCT, LKY, Raymond Lim and Lui whatever his name chap?

May I suggest, in addition to Bargain Hen, Gay Loong, etc list of ministers' nicknames, we add "Lui Fuck Yew/Lui Fuck You" as well.

Sure, why not? Each should have an apt nickname. Some do qualify for 2 or more though. We shouldnt deny them this privilege.

Actually, many misunderstood. I think when he said (or sang) upturn the downturn, he meant bottoms up! Isn't that the literal meaning?

Can I add a few more? :p

Sexy Chest
Zorro (or Batman)
Bus Passenger

Unfortunately all this will not help if the person is a real estate agent, second hand car salesman or someone in a vocation that is not respected or despised upon.

Such vocations are essential but if a control framework is not present, low lives will enter and in Singapore that has been the case. It also explains why many capable do not enter such vocations despite making good money is obvious. It called standard and class.

Success in monetary terms has never got votes. Thats why businessmen and towkays are seldom in parliament.

The appropriate candidate will be one who uses those qualifications to paint a picture of that is associated with community success or contribution. Its not surprise that PAP always put alot of doctors, lawyers and academics in their slate. It is always a vote getter.

In a nutshell, all those attributes mean little to the voter. It has to translate to something that voters can connect to. If you notice, the PAP will never ever describe their candidate as a businessman. It because it can mean many things to many people including being a conman. NSP as a party has never realised this basic things and wonder why they get repeatedly screwed. Low has been described as a former teacher, and owner of sign making business. People know exactly what he did and what he does.

How about someone who's business rental per month could pay for two MPs? Surely he's not interested with the MP pay. Someone who has master's degree from a reputable and highly ranked university in England. Someone who's still below 40 and yet incredibly successful counting royalties among his clientele. Someone who's schooled in economics and politics under some of the best disciplines offered anywhere in the world.

You should really join the opposition. Can't even get your facts right.

Shanmugaratnam? Can't even tell the truth without bringing more questions into play. And he is a lawyer. Either he is too lazy to come up with proper stories or his is really daft for thinking that Singaporeans are simpletons to take his crap at face value.

Only Shamugaratnam is Tharman.

Tharman? This guy was nothing more than a reported for the Business Times. Suddenly can become Minister of Finance. Even then he kenna overruled by gay loong on major issues and in full view of the public.

Tharman was never a reporter. You are a real imbecile.

Fortunately, this hypothetically potential candidate, if you re-read my original properly, is runnining royally patronised and admired business at operating costs more than two MPs' salaries, small-medium enterprise as it may be compared to MNCs. His bungalow and condo are both in District 10-11. Does he have to go through the fire if he doesn't care for the people? Does he need extra advantages. Ask the PAP candidates too to be fair.

Learn to put the right attributes across. You may know him as Gandhi or Mandela. But Voters would have to guess and they will be cautious. The word "admired" etc and the like was not in your first post. Nothing to do with going thru the fire. NSP candidates regularly go thru the fire and they all love to called businessmen as their vocation. Same with some other clowns in opposition. Gopalan also went thru the fire so did many imbeciles, donkeys and idiots and you think that it is noble attribute and some of them were successful in their business.

I wish you would the advise the PAP, maybe the opposition got hope.

Cpt Goh Meng Seng? :p

Actually a better question would be which minister has not screwed up. :D

To answer this question, need to find out which minister never does any real work.

Simple logic:
If you do more, you screw up more. If you do less, you screw up less. If you do nothing, you screw up nothing.

Maybe can start with those ministers without portfolio.

IMHO, this person should be one who comes from the PAP ranks, well respected and admired by his colleagues, with an unblemished record. He has earned his credentials, give due diligence to his job, responsible and a real leader amongst the shoe-polishing crowd. This guy is not in the forefront although he has an important role and essentially has not been too outspoken unlike the Zorro clown. Most importantly, he is a team player and biding his time to commit class treason. This guy we want is ambitious, street smart and well connected. He is wealthy enough and have no desire to accumulate more. Is there such a person? Time will tell.

Main reason why he should be from PAP is because, there is none outside of PAP with any experience of the political machinery of PAP, it's weaknesses, mindset and the overall aspect of the way the country is being runned. More than that, one has also to know the relationships between Singapore and other nations, the policies etc. I mean, there is a lot of information and whatnot that the ordinary person has no knowledge of existed, especially the history of the government.

It appears that this unknown hypothetical candidate has some gaps in his life and he is trying to fill them. It will be necessary to know what these gaps are before he is elected.

It could be that he has money but is now looking for power. Hypothetically of course. ;)

I don't need candidates who are filthy rich and wealthy. I don't need candidates who are top scholars. I just need candidates who have the passion, the compassionate but strong heart with big guts to fight the fight that will never be. I will just need a candidate who can deliver the voice of the people in parliament.

This sounds awfully like desperate self-promotion and a huge case of sour grapes.

I don't understand what you mean and how does it "appear" that he has some "gaps."

All who contest election contest for power, categorically, not just hypothetically. There's nothing wrong with wanting power. Indeed, there's a need for people who wants power. As power is required to represent the people and run the nation. Election is about electing whom best to entrust the power to.

I believe you are looking for IronMan aka Tony Stark. However, he has a degree from an American university - MIT.
