The west hates China because China has achieved so much and is prosperous and poised to be the next global superpower. They are jealous of China because China is a more advanced country than most of them, has more advanced infrastructure and tech, is more safe, organised and cleaner than their best cities.

To them, they want to retain their colonial mindset, are unable to accept that the people they once subjugated have become better than them. in nearly every aspect of human existence. The white man is king and master? Fuck that. They'd be lucky if the chinese don't look down on them.
