What the Great and Respected Tunku Abdul Rahman did for his country, Mahathir destroyed it completely.

I believe Harry will be rooting for BN. Will make his son's job much easier, especially in dealings with Malaysia. Pinky seems to get along well with Najib. Past baggage like forgotten and forgiven. Always better to deal with a known devil. If Anwar takes over, not too sure if Pinky can handle him.

Onn Jaafar just like Tunku Rahman was another Malay gentleman ahead of his times..

He wanted UMNO to admit non Malays as members but his noble idea was rejected by his party members.. Feeling disappointed he then left the party..

Another chap was the late Ismail.. He had many Chinese friends during his younger days and he was very close to the Kuok Family.. He even kept a dog as his pet..

The present Generation of UMNO clowns may not know this.. During the early days, the rich Chinese Towkays were the ones who held fund raising drives to help the Tunku when he travelled across the country to drum up support among the ordinary Malayans in his quest to obtain Independent from the British..

The Tunku felt grateful for the support he received from the Chinese and that's why it really pained him when the 2 races clashed with each other in the 1969 riots.. He remarked that the incident saddened him tremendously as he regarded the Malays and the Chinese as his beloved citizens..
