Windows 8/8.1-based tablets including Microsoft's Surface have attained a market share of one-third in the business-use tablet segment in Taiwan, according to general manager of Microsoft Taiwan, Davis Tsai citing IDC.
Tsai added that Microsoft Taiwan is aiming to hike the market share to 50% by the end of June 2014.
A Taiwan-based real estate vendor also pointed out that it is considering replacing its iPads with the Surface RT because of the tablet's price and functionality.
