Floyd Mayweather pays his private chef $1,000 per meal
Floyd Mayweather is no stranger to spending obscene amounts of money on the luxurious things in life, from jewellery to cars and pretty much just about anything else he wants.
With his upcoming May 2nd super-fight against Manny Pacquiao, Floyd is in ultimate training mode and is sparing no expense in his preparation, most notably when it comes to his private chef.
According to TMZ, Mayweather is paying his private cook, Chef Q, $1,000 per meal.
Yes, you read that correctly, $1,000 per meal.
At least for $1,000 a meal, Chef Q is on-call, whenever Floyd is hungry.
"My daily schedule for Floyd is 'There is no schedule' ... I am here for him anytime. 24 hours, 7 days a week,” she said.
"If he needs me at 3am, I am there cooking up breakfast."
In what will be the biggest fight of his career, Floyd is putting absolutely everything into his preparation and is understandably on a very strict diet, even giving up his beloved fast food. That’s how much he wants to beat Manny. No Fatburger.
Chef Q explains that she doesn’t charge $1,000 per meal, rather, that is what Floyd believes the meals are worth.
"He's always been mindful of what he eats but there is something different about this fight," she said.
