In singapore, profits are taken by the top few but costs and risks are borne by everyone. Just like the casino, the GST increase, the FT policy etc etc.

No use one lah. They will never listen to the people. The only hope is to have at least 2 credible opposition parties come 2016. Thereafter, with the 3 coalition checking and fighting themselves out in Parliament, will we then be able to see some fruitful outcome.

Problem is how many are willing to put down their details, unless you want Sxxxx123B type of IC numbers. Sinkies rather suffer in silence than to confront the government. Take the ERP for instance. When first implemented, was there any resistance? No. In Hongkong, when their government first hawked this idea, immediately all the taxis gathered to protest by blocking the roads and create congestions. So, just swallow what is given and all will be alright.

The only hope like I said is via the general elections or even better via by-elections if we can be more fortunate in the following 3 years.
