Pasir Gudang has always been an industrial shithole, and yet the pappies have been promoting Punggol as an ideal location for waterfront living.
Geographically too close. Like Jurong Island blowing to western Singapore.

This sounds very scenic.
I believe they have placed a oil boom to contain the pollution, and pump it up to be disposed in a proper manner. It will be difficult to charge the culprit unkess caught in the act.
Singapore is protected by God and his angels. No weapons forged against us will prosper.
Residents of Punggol should stay put in Punggol instead of starting a panic. And oppies should shut up instead of inflaming the matter. Please keep your mouths shut if you have nothing constructive to add to the situation. Grassroots leaders are on the ground to reassure the residents.
