Will M Ravi say spare Down East murderers?

1 interesting thought.

What if one of the 4 admit to delivering the fatal knive on Darren (trying to save the rest from murder charges), will the other 3 be charged with causing grievous hurt instead?

high chance for this to happen.
unlikely for all 4 to be charged with murder and hang.

another point, is that this involved a fight between 2 parties. It is not easy to proof murder.

however, due to the intense media coverage, and because this killing happens in daylight in a shopping mall. It is also unlikely that they are let off with a light sentense.

I think, if they are not hang, they will be sentense to life imprisonment

If common cause is established, all will be hanged regardless of who plunged the fatal stab. For example, three guys beat down or hold down a guy in order for another guy to plunge the fatal stab, all are guilty of murder.

All will face the same charge coz of "common intention". Their sentences will vary. The most jialak chap, my hunch is 7 yrs max with 12-15 strokes. The rest, anywhere between 3-6 yrs and 6-12 strokes. Let's wait and see.

Given the profile of this case, expect the Police, AGC and High Court to give this case number 1 priority. The new Minister Home Affairs will ensure highest priority for this case. He is Law Minister too.

judge : So you're pleading insanity. Does the defendant has a psychiatric report?

Lawyer : No your honour, but i have a psychiatric record.

Judge :  What does that got to do with the accused or this case?

Lawyer : The accused must also be insane to have hired me.

lol lol lol lol x 100

If M Ravi not fighting for them, then he is pro-FT!

Fight for foreigners but not Singporeans!

Fighting for foreigners got more international attention - more so in Angmoh countries who opposed hanging.

He may even be nominated for a Nobel Prize for protecting human rights and human lives !!!

Since the suspected murderers are between 18 to 20 years old. If they are convicted and sentenced to hang, will M Ravi say spare their lives.?

After all, it likely that these people comes from broken families and they are below 21. (Same as Yong Vui Kong)

So spare their lives? This is M Ravi's favourite tune, right?

"Ho Wui Ming, 20, Tang Jia Min, 21, and Chen Wei Zhen, 19, were charged in court today with the murder of Republic Polytechnic student Darren Ng. They allegedly committed the offence with 18-year-old Edward Tay Wei Loong."

Hang all of them at the same time!

Shut up Ravi!

This Edward Tay seriously injured himslef while trying to escape from arrest. He is bieng charged in the hospital. Good for him.

If the judge after finding them guilty beyond any reasonable doubt still do not hang them then I have no faith in the Singapore justice system. I am fully behind the PAP govt for the hanging and canning.

When I go to Singapore this Dec. or next year, I will wear a T-shirt with a message: "I support the Death Sentence and Canning"...signed A Canadian.
