Hougang reject now cozying up to Tampines residents

Desmond Choo's affiliation is like the weather.

It was not long ago that he called voters of Houngang "our residents".

After being rejected twice by the voters there, he has shifted his attention to Tampines and is now calling voters there "our residents".

For someone who's going to land that $15k a month job through the backdoor and potentially more if he follows the footsteps of Desmond Lee to become a first term Minister of State, we aren't surprised he's grinning from ear to ear.

Desmond isn't leading the team there. Mah will be out.

Heng Swee Keat is said to be rather affiliable and doing many changes to education against PAP norms. Winning Tampines the next time won't be easy. When Mah was there, HDB screwed up so badly and Mah was easy target, but someone missed a chance. The party of which he is no longer with can try Tampines again.
