Widow sues doctor
THE widow of a hawker is suing a surgeon for negligence, claiming her husband died after an allegedly botched operation. Madam Lim Ai Choo, 59, is seeking more than $500,000 from heart surgeon Wong Woon Wai. She is seeking some $390,000 in medical treatment costs, $80,000 for dependency loss and $45,000 for funeral and bereavement expenses.
