Cancer cells respect no one. Anyone can be afflicted with cancer. Even very good and nice people.

I know. Very true.
On the other hand, good persons who are in the opposition here evidently have strong moral character simply by virtue of the fact that they are making a tremendous personal sacrifice in the face of adverse circumstances and against a 'big and bad' adversary. Such real sacrifice is impossible for those whose sole motivation is material gain. As for voting, I for one will definitely vote humanely in the interest of humanity at large.
Sometimes, it's not to easy to ascertain whether a person is putting himself forward for selfish materialistic reasons or for more altruistic purposes.
Of course, there will never be a "totally altruistic" purpose, it boils down to a matter of degree.

Actually cancer had been cured in many ways long ago there are many unsuccesful painful struggles to even get it acknowledge by USA medical authorities due to MONEY & profit gains - immoral reasons.
Then again food, exercise & correct mentality are the basis of good health & actually is very possible. It's just discipline & correct moral attitude. And No man
It's a beautiful thing, just that it's easy said then done but possible.
Probably cancer cells can at least be subdued if one has countless millions stashed away safely, do you think so?

What you said is perfectly sensible. It is best to aim for a net improvement in any bad situation. There is no perfection in this world. So long as a bad situation is stopped from getting worse and disastrous, the alternative solution is worth embracing. Ultimately, risk is still present, as humans can also change in time.

There is much good truth in what you said.
And there are even known baffling cases of cancer victims miraculously healed in the face of skeptism in conventional medical and scientific circles. Much is yet to be known and learned.
And this is why I have said that even a 90-odd-year-old man has much much to learn in this world. No man is king of the Universe who can demand to be paid at 'Universal' rates. That is obviously folly of infinite magnitude. And no man can be king of the Universe by simply mastering all the ruthless tricks of Marchiavelli.

Also read this : On a fateful day in 1922 Canadian nurse Rene Caisse happened to notice some scar tissue on the breast of an elderly English woman. The woman said that doctors had diagnosed her with breast cancer years before. However, the woman didn't want to risk surgery nor did she have the money for it.
The English woman had met an old Indian medicine man in the 1890s who told her that he could cure her cancer with an herbal tea. The woman took the medicine man's advice, and consequently she was still alive nearly thirty years later to pass on this herbal remedy to Nurse Caisse.

Yes, we must all read widely and not just listen to what the pap says and wht the sg media say.
in fact the pap has lost so much credibility that i am always cautious and have difficulty believing what the pap said..
am i becoming a sceptic?
At the rate it is going, it is not inconceivable that the day will come when any word they utter will be automatically treated as trash and cause much cringing, even ire. But as the daft become wise, it can only be good.
that day is approaching soon..that's why the pap is suffering a credibility problem with singaporeans now
