Apple will loose steam when Android 3.0 aka Honeycomb is released in 2011. In smartphone arena, Android had officially overtaken Apple in sales...

Even if Apple looses out to android they will still do well$$.

Just take a look at the iPhone sales where they are selling every iPhone they can make. The same goes for the iPad.

The competition between Google vs Apple is a healthy thing for the consumer. It pushes the companies to release more features. A year from now when Honeycomb is released, Apple won't be idle & will be releasing their own updates.

Don't underestimate the Apple App store. Alot of developers are behind the iPad because there already exists a customer base. I've heard that the Android market is harder, lots of incompatibility between different versions of android & the different manufacturers of android devices
