they are reinventing the wheel. The US Navy already give up on the Littoral warships and in fact plan to retire them. THe RSN could have offered to buy them from the USN, since a fair number are based in Singapore. I am sure they can get a much cheaper price by just buying the used ships. But of course not. If they did that, then the jiakiobees at DSTA, ST Marine will get no business. Minimum, it will cost over $300million each.Engineers at ST can only follow the flop concepts of US. One such project is Littoral warship.
