Bro, back in the days when I was in the SPF, many bodies volunteered to be arrowed even if heavy lifting is involved. These overseas trips caused lots of unhappiness, envy and jealousy. All over a free trip! Even if to a nearby country.

Don't think the other Ministers will begrudge Grace Fu for being nominated. That said, the fact that a relatively junior minister, albeit a full minister, has been chosen reflects the significance which the PM accords to this event.

IPPT is 2.414km because it was converted from 1.5 miles.
It was 2.414km and still is. Many nowadays think that it is 2.4km, so meaning all who run 2.4km fell short of competing the 1.5 mile. Duh!
