Also shows how lousy NSP was under Goh Meng Seng. Never position troops well
We know what an egomaniac he is over here. I thought he was suppose to "retire" in HK if he lost the last election. Apparently he has a change of heart. What a hypocrite.
As I recall, one of the members of Nicole's NSP team for Marine Parade GRC was described as a "warehouse assistant".
There is nothing wrong with someone one that is a "warehouse assistant". In fact, what is missing in SG parliaments are not doctors, lawyers people that are educated but the working class. Imagine if there is someone that can actually represent the working class in parliament. You think things like up the population to increase productivity would happen? Or worker rights would be more predominant? We need more representative from various class in SG not more people with paper degrees.

Noticed that NS letter has no specifics at all. She provided no solution.

Note that none of these opposition people dare provide concrete solution to the low birth rates because they know very well it will never be solved no matter what you do cos its a worldwide problem.

It reads like a little girl is whining. Same old points which have been raised several times from various quarters.

The PAP has presented a White Paper that looks too perfect to be true. It’s comprehensive, with clear graphs and data to show exactly what the consequences will be if we do not adhere to their policy recommendations, and a nicely predicted, positive outcome if the White Paper were to be implemented in full.

In the real world, people make decision based on real data, trends and try to project ahead. Not by gut feel.

What policymakers and leaders do need to establish, however, are the values by which they govern this country. The values we use to lead this country will cascade down into the mindsets of policymakers, and it will influence the way that they make decisions.

She wants PAP to establish a mission statement for Singapore?
