Euthanasia and Suicides should be Encouraged in Singapore​

I sent this article below to [email protected] on 23 March 2026 before my father passed away after struggling to breathe for a couple of days. I've been jobless since January 2026.

I'm a 50 year old citizen who is both disabled using a walking stick and has mental illness. I graduated from a local university with an engineering degree in 2001. Our country tries to take care of the disabled and the mentally ill separately, but when someone straddles both disability and mental illness like me, discrimination starts happening. In addition, if we have sufficient savings to last a few years, the government's "premier" COMCARE will not help!

I had once looked for a job through SPD and SG Enable, which is very ineffective because I was jobless for nearly two years, but I eventually managed to get a job that lasted about 9 months by myself without SPD's help. Upon job termination, my now ex-employer suggested that I may have memory and negativity problems, whereby SPD immediately discharged me from their services, claiming that I should look for psychiatric help. Now, I'm jobless again!

I no longer have any love for this lousy country of mine, especially when I had to suffer through more than 20 years of lack of employment and persistent underemployment. Our country's lack of support for euthanasia and suicides is irrational and disgusting. My elderly father who lives in a nursing home, has dementia and can no longer eat, should be given morphine, so that he can die painlessly. Unfortunately, in this merciless and lousy country of mine, there is no such convenience for death.

My AMD has already been approved by the government, but I know it's a useless piece of paper, because I know that between Trump and Iran, they will destroy all the oil resources in the middle east. In doing so, our country will no longer have cheap resources, and will eventually not be able to support even COMCARE. Just to inform everyone that I will commit suicide when when my savings run out and the country can no longer support my existence. Thus, an AMD is worthless. When I die, I will curse this nation where I was born in to the end.

In Singapore, you have vaccines like Covid-19, Midazolam, Remdesivir and others that are used to kill lives legally. Those work almost the same as Euthanasia except it gives you some pain but its objective is the same as Euthanasia.

I think they rather Singaporeans die miserably and contribute their body to “multiple treatments” which means multiple revenue to Lees Enterprise than just die so smoothly with only 1 revenue
