if my hunch is right, TTSH fucked it up this time round, one chap was symptomatic since 16 April, which leads to the following questions- were those asymptomatic patients in Ward 9D admitted prior or after case 62561 was admitted? What are their serological tests results like? Who was that “source”?

case 62573, 62574 & 62582 can’t be the source since they were already warded when 62561 was warded, correct?

the doctor and nurse bearing case numbers 62557 and 62541 are unlikely candidates of being the source of this cluster as their onset of symptoms are quite late.

This 18 years old trainee running around so many places during her infectious period... what strain is she carrying? the folks in this TTSH cluster could likely to be carrying the same strain as this young girl if she is the source.

Case 62561

A 57 year-old patient at TTSH who was initially in Ward 7D and then transferred to Ward 9D.

The patient developed a fever on April 16 but did not seek medical treatment. On April 18, he went to TTSH's emergency department after his fever persisted, and he developed a runny nose and cough.

He tested negative for Covid-19 and was subsequently put into Ward 7D.

On April 20, he was transferred to Ward 9D.

As his fever did not go away, he was reviewed by an infectious diseases physician, and transferred to an isolation ward on Tuesday.

The next day, he tested positive for Covid-19. His serological test result has come back negative.

But usuallee patient will undergo 2 round of swab unless ttsh was sloppy do 1 round KNN if 2 round chances of false negative is rather low KNN that means he from no covid but fever due to other leesons then transfered to ward 9d to tio covid KNN
