Why do they fly planes that keep beaking apart?

you know, they always look for black box after the plane crashed.
Ever wonder why don't they build a plane like a black box, so it won't break apart when crash

ah that's the key, because the black box is small, it cannot be broken so easily..unlike a large airframe....

many people thinks something that big would not break apart so easily...but they were wrong....
