since now public buses base their fare on distant travelled, it would be prudent they stop at ALL the bus stops along their route.
many buses do not stop at certain bus stops like those along chinatown. they skip stops and only pause further down or even further up from the destination u wanted to alight.
base on distant, wouldn't we be charged even higher and yet still inconvenient ourselves whereby we have to walk longer to our destination?
eg. taking bus 64 going to plaza singapura. it doesn't stop at the bus stop nearest to plaza sin but by pass it to stop at another bus stop quite further away.
doesnt' that incur more fare cost and the inconvenience of walking back?
SBS has increased its fare so very often but how much have they improved on their public service proportionate to their fare increment?
by the way, are u satisfied with our public transport?
obviously not. just look at the mrt. it's suffering taking it.
yet the clueless minitoot and all the relevant spokespersons try to pacify that "it's a fairer" fare system.
MY FOOT!! HOW COULD IT BE FAIR WHEN ONE IS PAYING HIGHER FEE AT THE SAME OLD SORRY TYPE OF PUBLIC SERVICES?:oIo:
