She is on hormone treatments but it is to reduce the level of testosterone in her. Surely no amount of treatment can cure her. Either that or indeed aliens have landed and are living amongst us.

When my grandfather and grandmother passed away, my father as eldest son and me as eldest grandson were joint portrait bearers. "Joint" in ceremonial sense but of course my father carried the the portrait and I stood and followed beside to signify that they had a grandson already.
