Why cant I get fresh duck egg in SG?

bro..outside my house no tree ....inside my garden also no tree ( my garden very small , with carpet grass and a BBQ pit and one table only , ZEN design garden . ) i thought of installing at my fencing ..should be easy to install right ? maybe i can installed myself .

If not too big its easy and safe to install because using LED so very low voltage. Remember I said sometimes water gets inside. Still works for LED. So very safe.

No problem to invest fro farang. Many topnotch properties in Phuket and Bangkok are own by farangs. There are lawyers to do it through your own company. They call this through nominee. To explain it simply its like you get your company to buy under the company and if you own this company 49% you also own the property 49%. However the lawyer is able to make up a contract to "lease" the property to you for say 900 years and also the company has no power to sell the property except the lessee and if it has to be sold with the lessee's agreement the leesee will be compensated a certain amount which the lawyer will work out such that everything will be paid to the leassee. Not too complicating but this is how its done. Did mine recently at a new place.

Sorry I really mean one use his own company la. Seriously this is what they do for me and I am comfortable. For me its for living not so much for investment. I mean half mil here you live like a king with swimming pool thrown in if you like. I have very good partners here that I can trust and I know them long time liao. So going to start work early next year and should complete in 12-15mths.

This is a loophole that foreigners exploit to get own properties here so my answer is yes you need to have company to make the company as proxy to buy landed property (condo is no problem one can buy as many as you want in cash of course because foreigners cannot borrow from bank). The other hurdle is company who have foreigner share holders cannot take loan to buy land so all must be in cash. However after buying the land one can use the land as security to borrow money to build the house. But then building cost in Thailand is very low.

Of course there is another easier way la, marry a Thai. But then still the property is under the Thai's name. Trouble is what happen if Thai wife go first then one may be kick out of the house by her estate.

First of all, it always foreigners less than 50% meaning max is 49%. But then its not necessary to have 49%, even 10% can do because as long as its the Thai company who owns the property its alright. Many angmohs or shall I say farangs here just have a name in any Thai company that the lawyer arranged. But I personally don't feel safe with this arrangement having said that this is how farangs do it for years without any problem. For me its a little different because I live here work here and have office and factories with trusted Thai partners here so I am here for the long haul. But for the farangs many come to their Thai home to live on ly 6 months a year. That arrangement I not feel safe.

Lets say if I live and work in Singapore and I want to have a home in Thailand for whatever reason, holiday or retire, I will probably choose a nice condo say in Chiangmai. For this, foreigners can own directly 100% without any complication. Very straight forward. By the way its all freehold here. A nice condo about 65 sqm 2 bedrooms in Bangkok say around my place about 30mins drive to Sukhumvit cost less than 5mil (200k?)

Not sure if you are familiar with estates there, but i was keen on the Metz last time, think about half a mill. Is Thong Lor still the hot property in BKK?

Do intouch with property market here but can't recall Metz. However in Thong Lor area 5mil should be able to get you like 50sqm single or two bedrooms unit with nice furnishing and reasonable facility.
