Why Are Some People Snobs? The psychology of snobbery and why snobbery is rampant.

Kumlankia thinks FDA or SFA test everything. Sample random testing doesn't guarantee you anything. Another big problem is Jiuhu vege, Many vege from Jiuhu and China have excessive amount of pesticides. SFA only does sample testing. By the time the results are out, the vege already distributed all over the island in the general trade channels and it is practically impossible to recall. Some probably already in your stomach. Consume Tiong and Jiuhu vege at your own risk. Of course you can miminise the risk by soaking them longer,
There is no full-proof way to check every item of food that is imported into S'pore. I guess you have been eating your own shit all these years out of fear, so you have shit for brains.

Sausages are an occasional indulgence for me. I love the taste but as in everything else in life, consume in moderation.

Now you know, right?

To let sour grapes define snobbery is to confuse resentment with judgment. If definitions belong anywhere, sour grapes should be defined by those accused of snobbery, not the other way around.

The upskirt pervert is a a must-win type.

He is full of himself
Having something is not, by itself, enough to produce happiness. What I have is only the condition precedent; what you do not have is the determining condition that gives my possession its emotional significance.

Possession acquires much of its value not in isolation, but through comparison. Happiness, therefore, arises less from what one possesses than from possessing what others lack. Imagine walking into the office and finding that everyone is wearing the same Rolex you paid $15,000 for. The satisfaction you once derived from owning it largely disappears. Nothing about the watch has changed; only the comparison has. The pleasure of ownership was never solely in possessing the Rolex, but in possessing what others did not.:sneaky:

This is why drawing attention to another's deprivation can be just as important, perhaps even more important, than proclaiming one's own abundance.:laugh::biggrin:
