SHANGHAI: China Southern Airlines will carry out an equity diversification plan that will involve the injection of 30 billion yuan (US$4.36 billion) of capital from three investors, the firm announced on Saturday (Jul 20).
The Guangdong Hengjian Investment Holding Corporation, the Guangzhou Urban Construction Investment Group and the Shenzhen Penghang Equity Investment Fund will each inject 10 billion yuan into the airline, as part of the country's efforts to diversify ownership structures among state-owned firms.

The move will significantly improve the company's debt-to-asset ratio, generate funds for its growth and help modernize its decision-making mechanisms, the announcement said.
It will also use the funds to serve its main air transportation business, pay for construction related to China's Belt and Road Initiative and support aviation development in cities in the southern province of Guangdong.
China Southern is one of 96 enterprises owned and administered directly by the central government. Its profits slumped nearly 50 per cent last year as a result of rising fuel costs and a weak yuan currency.

美国“不同声音”网站7月18日文章，原题：为什么西方对中国的成功视而不见 过去，对中国的盲目仇视可能归因于无知，或至少是西方宣传和媒体的灌输。但现在呢？中国的巨大进步，良好、人道的社会政策和以人为本的科研，以及向生态文明的迈进，这一切是有目共睹的。那些真想了解（中国）的人有大把机会弄清事实。
但在西方，很多人似乎不想这么做。在很多西方国家及其附属国，中国被负面看待。而在非洲等地，中国与当地人密切往来，帮助他们打破对欧美新殖民主义的依赖。在这些地方，民调都显示中国受到称赞和喜欢。（西方）真的只是无知吗？中国媒体常问笔者一个问题：“我们努力遵守规则，竭力改善地球，为什么在西方还是老受到批评？”答案是明显的：“恰恰就是因为如此。”
大约20年前，中国东部城镇与农村地区生活水平还有很大差别。交通不便，工业城市污染严重，大量农村人到城里求职。这些给社会体系造成巨大压力。彼时，那些不喜欢中国的人有充足“弹药”进行批评。但这个国家在向前发展，接着创造了人类历史上前所未有的奇迹，过去20年里实现巨大增长，并改善国民生活水平。中国的一切都变了。城市变得干净、绿色、生态，到处是公园和健身器材，还有一流的公共交通，宏伟的博物馆、音乐厅，出色的大学和医院。高铁如今连接该国几乎所有大城市。

第一次到中国的外国人会震惊不已：中国看上去比美英富得多。这里的街道、机场、地铁、高铁、剧院、人行道、公园，令纽约或巴黎相形见绌。但中国还不算富，人均GDP仍较低，但这恰恰是“中国特色社会主义”如此了不起并优于西方资本主义的地方。中国不必达到人均收入约5万美元以上，才能实现繁荣、赋予国民更好的生活、保护好环境并促进伟大文化。这是否正是令西方胆战心惊的地方？
中国为国民和世界提供了好得多、合理得多的制度。其科学研究大多是为改善地球环境和民众生活水平，而非冷冰冰地逐利。20年前，不喜欢中国的西方人会说：“上海和深圳是富了，但看看其他沿海城市，知道差别了吧？”后来其他沿海城市变好了，西方批评仍继续：“离开沿海到西部，会发现中国多不平衡！”终于，中国西部大有改善，城市生活质量与沿海几无差别。西方批评者仍未消停，“中国城乡差别太大。”在习近平领导下，中国农村经受大改造，交通、医疗服务、教育和就业明显改善。2018年中国人口开始从城市向农村回流，这是其近代历史上首次。那接下来（西方还能指责什么）呢？
中国变好了，也更关心国民及世界其他国家的民众，受到（西方）攻击却更猛了。他们没有“哇！”的赞叹，也没一句“中国如今是生态、社会政策、科学和几乎所有公共产品的世界领袖”。为什么？答案显而易见，但也令人沮丧：因为西方不想要中国成功。即便中国成功了，也只字不提。因为两种制度截然不同，若中国的正确，那西方的就是错误。
西方并不谋求对世界有益的构想，只是想让自己支配全球。正因如此，中国在那些想让国民脱贫、建设更美好新社会的国家中大受欢迎。也正因如此，在西方——和西方人及其后裔支配媒体的少数西方以外国家，中国被抹黑、被反感甚至被仇视。（作者安德烈·弗尔切克，乔恒译）
