If LW wanted to seal his Premiership with no potential threat. He should kick CCS and OYK out of the list immediately and possibly demote the two competitors to a role that won't gain much limelight. Continue to let HSK be a DPM, since he has no threat to LW's new position.

Then again, Pinky have the final say in the reshuffling. I suspect, Pinky is going to plant his own supporters in key areas before stepping down so as to prevent LW's from acting like Ong Teng Cheong.

Whether you should support LW, is to see who is going to be his DPM and how the reshuffling is going to turn out. Afterall, there is not many talent in PAP camp and Singaporeans have to make do with what Halimah called, if no meat, fish also can.

LW needs to get HIS people in at the next GE ie the fresh 25% replacement MPs. Once Pinky's old birds retire, his hold will be weaker. the rest of the cabinet are just sitting on the fence. CCS/OYK will be put aside. who knows, they may not even survive the GE

LW will put CCS in East Coast and rescue his mentor Heng from East Coast. If East Coast falls, CCS ends up in NTUC and a threat will have been neutralized.

That would be LW's ultimate East Coast Plan.
