No . It the citizens going to get the sheet.
Many are innocent workers.
Sinkies in general lah.
All sinkies benefit from this cheap foreign labor policy. The workers do all these hard labor type work for almost free.
This is really how Singapore has become prosperous. It is on the backs of hardworking foreign cheap labor that sinkies can have higher paying comfy indoor office jobs.
How many maids are there in Singapore? One maid represents one household in most cases.
Obscene. You get a butler, wait hand and foot for you live in, for $700 a month? And why is this a NEED and not a privilege?

Basically, we are done in by foreigners. The first nail was hammered in by the Wuhan chinks here. The final nail by these banglas, possibly FDWs as well. We deserve it because most of us approve of the pap's way of doing things, their policies.

They are distracted. Try to keep Singaporeans safe and then worker party keep ask how piggy bank reserves we got.

No.
I think many of the problems in Singapore are due to the maids and foreign workers. Suppress wages. Discrimination based on stereotypes. Young children and people having a very skewed perception of life. Poor attitudes towards housework and simple home repairs. etc
It would be better in the long term if Singapore can wean off dependence on cheap foreign labor.

Considering the fact that more than 50% of those infected are asymptomatic I think they have done extremely well in fact they probably have done too well and have delayed the peak instead of getting it over and done with.
With a population of almost 5 million living in close contact with each other the number of positives out there is probably at least 50,000 most with only very mild or zero symptoms so they fall outside the contact tracing efforts but are still spreading the virus.
Where the government is going wrong is in ramping up efforts instead of relaxing them. The authorities should look at the data and it should be pretty obvious that herd immunity is the way to go considering the fact that the mortality rate is no worse than flu.
With an estimated 50,000 or more infected and only 6 deaths there should be more than enough capacity to deal with cases that end up in hospital and keep the death toll very low.
