His PAPa had seen rising Nationalism, where the people aspiration was to have a home ( country) they call their own, (SINgapore) & a Flag in which they identify with & an identity they are proud of & displayed to the world. They could stand together & shout, "Merdeka"! that is Nationalism!

Anyone dare gather a group & carry the flag of this country & stand at the Padang & shout "Merdeka, long live SINgapore!"..!! you know, how many police will descend upon them ? and how many offenses they will be breaking! does he know what is Nationalism? doubt so!:p
