Dear fellow Native Singaporean,
By now, it must be very clear that this white paper will reduce us to a miserable minority in our own country and we will have little to pass on to our children.
It is also clear that the government will continue to ignore our plea and push ahead if not faster in bringing many more millions. We should continue to analyze the impact and figure out their hidden agendas. However, what is more important is that we act immediately to effectively stop the influx and reverse the flow.
Foreigners who came are lured by our government’s international recruitment campaign with promise of good jobs and good life in Singapore. They were also told that the native Singaporeans will welcome them with open arms. We need to let them know the truth that they are really not welcome here. This will send many packing and deter others from coming. Here are some examples of what we can do:
• Adopt a Singapore FIRST attitude in our daily life, shopping, eating etc eg boycotting Jollibee.
• Politely show the foreigners we encounter that they are nice people but we rather they don’t come.
• Local business owners should adopt a Singaporean FIRST or better still NO FOREIGNER policy in their hiring. They will have strong support from the native.
• Use the social media to make known government departments/officials/politicians that does not practise a Singaporean first policy.
• Support and join every protest on the white paper.
Above are just examples of how we can live out a “Singaporean FIRST” lifestyle.
