Not sure if this topic has been touched on.........anyone got the stats on which group of foreigners is the biggest here in SG now?

My definition is all foreigners including PRs. Citizens not counted.

My guess is one of these

Probably PRC in terms of absolute numbers but South Asians in terms of percentage increase. I remember a press report about a year back.

Not only through corrupt activities. Avoidance of all sorts of taxes too - smuggling for instance.

Bangladesh was the former East Pakistan, who obtained independence from Pakistan, there are a different people, linguistic etc. they speak mainly Bengali. There are people of other religions from Bangladesh, so the Banglas are not all Muslims. India is a big continent of many people & cultures, collectively they are known as Indians. The ah nehs we call them are mostly the southern Indians, mainly Tamils. If you want to know, how many Ah nehs are here, ask M.O.M. they will know, they are mostly in the marine & construction insudtries, not counting the higher caste Foreign Talents.

An Indian is different from a Bangladeshi, as different as a Chinese from Korean or Japanese, though sharing a common ancestral root.

Actually the best part is a large numbers of the 60% don't even know they got cheated. Something like increasing the GST to help the poor.
